How to Find some keyword in New Blogger Template Editor
- Go to Blog’s Dashboard.
- Click on Template on left side.
- A screen like below will appear.
- Click on Edit HTML
- The Blogger’s template Editor will open up which looks as below.
- Place mouse cursor anywhere on template editor and press “Ctrl+F”
- A search box will appear on top-right of editor. Note : Do not press “Ctrl+F” by clicking on Browser tabs as this will open browser’s default search box which is not yet completely compatible with new Blogger Template HRML Editor and will not find codes for you properly. This is because, now unlike of previous editor, the sections and blog widgets are in “collapsed” form (you may be able to see arrows icons before some lines and widgets) instead of expanded form as it used to be in previous HTML Editor.
- Type or copy-paste the string that you want to search in Search Bar and Press Enter.
- It will search for string even in collapsed form and show you the lines containing the entered string.
- To search for next keyword, place mouse in search field and press EnterNote: Pressing enter continuously without placing cursor in “Search Field” will cause breakage of line in template HTML editor and shoft next words downwards.
- Add or replace anything which you want to add to HTML (more precisely XML) of blog and click on “Save”
- Template will get saved and if any Error exists, it’ll show you notification about Error and line and type of error.
- You are done. View Blog to save changes.
